Returns & Refund Policy

At Aloe Gear, we stand behind the technical quality of our equipment. If a component doesn't meet your requirements, our return process is designed to be straightforward and in full compliance with South African law.

1. Return Window - We offer a 30-day return policy. You have 30 days from the date of receiving your item to request a return.

2. Eligibility & Condition (Change of Mind)

For standard "Change of Mind" returns, the item must be in the exact condition you received it:

  • Unused and uninstalled.
  • In its original, sealed packaging.
  • Including all technical manuals, accessories, and tags.
  • Accompanied by the original invoice or proof of purchase.

3. Damaged, Defective, or CPA Returns

The "sealed packaging" requirement does not apply to items that are defective or damaged. If an item is found to be faulty or does not perform as technically specified:

  • Contact us immediately at info@aloegear.com.
  • We will evaluate the issue and provide a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with your rights under the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

4. How to initiate a return?

  • Return Shipping: Please note that customers are responsible for the cost and arrangement of return shipping to our facility.

  • Important: Items sent back to us without prior authorisation will not be accepted.

5. Non-Returnable Items

For safety and technical integrity, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Installed Electronics/Batteries: Any electrical component that has been connected, powered up, or installed.
  • Custom Orders: Specialised items or modifications ordered specifically for your vehicle build.
  • Sale Items: Items purchased on clearance or marked as "Final Sale."

6. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return at our Boksburg warehouse, we will notify you of the approval status.

  • Approval: Approved refunds are processed automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days.
  • Processing Time: Please note that banks or credit card providers may take additional time to post the refund to your account.
